"There is not a chance that we will permit a holiday lockdown of synagogues," Minister of Housing Yaakov Litzman (United Torah Judaism) declared today at an apartment rental promotion in Nahariya.
"If we need to institute a lockdown, let's do it today. Not on the holidays when synagogues will be open. Minister of Development Aryeh Deri (Shas) and I will not allow a holiday lockdown.
"When you allow 20,000 to gather outside the prime minister's residence, it is not fair to allow no more than 20 people in a synagogue. There must be complete equality," Litzman added.
