The office of MK Moshe Gafni, chairman of the Knesset's Finance Committee, has issued a statement on his health, following an operation he underwent almost two weeks ago:
"MK Rabbi Gafni underwent two heart catheterization procedures in hospital, and is now recovering. He is fully conscious and breathing independently and is not in danger. Rabbi Gafni wishes to thank all those who prayed for his recovery and concerned themselves with his welfare."
