MK Kathrin Shitrit (Likud) has demanded that the terrorist who stabbed a man in Petah Tikva earlier today be made to pay a high price for his deed, saying that, "The State of Israel will not let this pass in silence.
"I want this terrorist to be dealt with extremely harshly," she said, adding that, "The work permits of all his relatives should be cancelled, in order to act as a deterrent. This isn't the first time that a Palestinian with a work permit has committed a terrorist attack - we all remember the Barkan terror attack, for instance. In future, the security establishment should be much more cautious in who it grants permits to, and should make much more comprehensive checks."
