The Israeli American Council has issued a statement regarding the wildfires blazing in California:
"This has been a tough and sad week for California. We are thankful for the firefighters that continue to work around the clock, risking their lives to save others."
Dozens of wildfires are still blazing across the state, and the death toll has risen to seven.
