This morning, Defense Minister Benny Gantz held a meeting with the British Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, who is currently on a visit to both Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The meeting was also attended by the Minister for Strategic Affairs, Orit Farkash-Hacohen.
Gantz and Raab discussed the new opportunities for policy moves opened up in the wake of the Israel-UAE normalization treaty, and the desire of both countries to advance interests shared by both Israel and the United Kingdom.
The meeting concluded with all participants acknowledged the deep and significant security ties that exist between Israel and the United Kingdom and the intention of both countries to strengthen these ties in the framework of joint activities.
