Following his meetings with senior Israeli politicians today, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo wrote on Twitter of his satisfaction with the latest developments in the region.
"I was delighted to be in Israel following the announcement of the Abraham Accords [between Israel and the UAE]. We have broken new ground on historical diplomatic relations that will advance peace in the Middle East."
