Speaking at this evening's press conference, PM Netanyahu referred to the recent normalization treaty with the United Arab Emirates, and denied that there is any secret clause for a sale of F35 jets to the UAE.
"The peace agreement between us does not include any agreement of Israel's whatsover to the sale of any form of weapons," he said. "It appears that the left wing is finding it hard to swallow the idea that we succeeded in closing a 'peace for peace' agreement rather than one that is based on 'land for peace.' I have been working toward this agreement for many years, and the final agreement is based on our fundamental positions, which have not changed, as I told the Americans."
