Still speaking at this evening's press conference, PM Netanyahu asked: "Why aren't people being told that they closed the case on Nissenkorn? Is there some conflict of interest here perhaps?"
The PM was referring to a claim by the Likud party that a criminal case was secretly closed against Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn over alleged irregularities in the 2017 leadership race at the Histadrut labor federation. The Justice Ministry has denied the allegations.
