The "Mitaam Mehadrin" company has announced a recall of sliced beef salami sold under the brand name "Mitaam Hafetz Haim," following the discovery of listeria bacteria by Health Ministry officials.
The packages concerned weigh 250 grams, with a production date 18.08.2020 and expiration date 18.10.2020. The barcode number is 7290002391050.
The company has also decided to recall all its whole (unsliced) beef salami products of any weight that are sold wholesale, without specifying production dates.
"As a precautionary measure out of our commitment to our customers, the company has undertaken to recall these products from store shelves and asks customers not to consume them and instead to return them to the company by contacting customer service at 026542737."
