Former MK Yehuda Glick has requested that the Jerusalem police commander allow Jews to blow the shofar on the Temple Mount throughout the Jewish month of Elul and on Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year).
The shofar-blowings would be held openly and in coordination with security forces.
