Israel Police have announced that police sappers were active in a number of locations during the night, investigating shards from rockets fired into Israel from Gaza.
Sappers were reportedly operating in Sderot and in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council area.
No injuries have been caused due to the rocket fire, although some damage to a building and to vehicles was reported.
