The government's coronavirus cabinet meeting is to be held this afternoon at half past four, at which project manager Prof. Ronni Gamzu will present new proposals for "red zones" where virus transmission is especially high.

One proposal is likely to be reducing the permitted number of people in public spaces, from 30 to 20 in open spaces, and from 20 to 10 in enclosed spaces.

Meanwhile, in "green zones" where contagion rates are low, up to 250 people will be permitted to gather in open spaces, and up to 100 in closed spaces.
