Japanese health authorities have reported 339 new cases of coronavirus in the capital, Tokyo, today, the first time in five days that the figure has risen above 300, according to the Japan Times.
18,607 people have been confirmed as coronavirus carriers in Tokyo to date; 347 of them have died, and 32 are in serious condition.
