Coronavirus continues to surge across Europe, with Italy, Spain, and France all reporting large daily rises in the number of confirmed cases.
According to The Guardian, Spain reported 3,715 new cases per day just a few days ago; France has reported 3,800; and Italy has recorded 642, the highest daily increase there since it emerged from a strict lockdown back in May.
