The EU said it didn't recognize the final results of general elections held in Belarus last week in which incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko received 80% of the vote.
Hundreds of thousands of pro-freedom activists took to the streets of Minsk and other cities over the past months in protest of Lukashenko's policies with at least two killed by state police.
