Updated figures from the Health Ministry show that 27,799 tests for coronavirus were conducted yesterday, resulting in 1,644 positive results (six percent of the total).
There are currently 401 people hospitalized in serious condition due to coronavirus-related complications, with 118 of them on ventilators.
