Due to coronavirus regulations, Olam Yitzhak (the Hall of the Patriarch Isaac) in the Cave of the Patriarchs (Me'arat Hamachpeilah) in Hebron will not be opened to the public.

The administration of the site has announced that other parts of the site will be open until 21:45, with up to 30 people granted admittance at any one time. Visitors will only be permitted to remain inside the building for 15 minutes. Prayer services are being held outside, on the plaza adjacent to the site, in an area covered with a canopy for sun protection, with chairs provided for worshipers.

Today (Rosh Chodesh Elul) it is expected that larger crowds than usual will be arriving at the site for prayer, which will cause longer waiting times than usual for those wishing to enter the building.
