Regional Cooperation Minister Ofir Akunis today convened his office staff to discuss operational aspects arising from official relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. The Minister instructed ministry staff to act in coming days to focus on projects and activities that can be immediately promoted in joint regional activities, with reference to other important regional partnerships.
According to Minister Akunis: "The agreement with the United Arab Emirates will boost the Israeli economy, and will lead to many significant development opportunities in the fields of solar energy, technology, advanced agriculture, and other fields."
