Data from John Hopkins University shows that Ukraine has seen a huge spike in coronavirus cases since the end of June, The Guardian reports, with the number of new cases per day having tripled since then.
Today, the country reported 1,732 new cases, setting a record and bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 87,872, with 2,011 deaths so far.
