Germany reports 1,449 new virus cases, 14 deaths in last 24 hours

German health authorities have reported 1,449 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, and the deaths of 14 due to the epidemic.

Germany now has a total of over 220,000 confirmed infections, and 9,225 deaths.
