Professor Hezi Levy, director-general of the Health Ministry, told Galei Tzahal this morning that he expects that the country will see a significant drop in the number of new coronavirus infections within the next two weeks.
"We are praying to be rid of this epidemic," he said, "and in my estimation, in another two weeks there will be a drop and then a stabilizing of the numbers of new infections. I don't think that we'll actually get to a stage where all transmission chains of the virus are broken in the next few weeks, but I think that we'll be on our way there."
