A 29-year-old resident of East Jerusalem has been arrested on suspicion that he attacked an elderly woman living at the residential home where he was employed as a caregiver.
The woman, aged 90, was physically injured by the attack.
The suspect will be brought before a court later today and police are expected to request an extension of his remand.
