This afternoon, a military exercise will begin near the city of Eilat, which is expected to end at night. As part of the exercise, there will be active movement of security forces and sounds of explosions will be heard in the area.
"The exercise was planned in advance as part of the training program for 2020 and is designed to maintain the forces' readiness and competence," the IDF said.
