According to data from John Hopkins University, the United States now has more than five million confirmed cases of coronavirus. More than 162,000 people have died in the US of coronavirus-related complications.
As such, the US has the highest number of confirmed cases in the world, by a huge margin. Second comes Brazil with almost three million cases, followed by India and Russia.
