Governor of Bank of Israel: We need a budget now, not elections

Professor Amir Yaron, governor of the Bank of Israel, has warned against dissolving the Knesset, and called on politicians to pass the annual budget.

"At such a time, fresh elections would be bad news for the Israeli economy," he said. "The government should be taking swift action to draw up a clear plan for the economy and pass a budget."
