A few days after the explosion of the hazardous materials in Beirut, the Interior and Environmental Protection Committee, headed by MK Miki Haimovich (Blue and White), is currently touring Haifa Bay.
According to MK Haimovich, "The disaster in Beirut has, of course, aroused great concern on the part of the residents and the heads of the authorities in the Bay region, and I can understand them. Today's tour is intended to tighten supervision of treatment, control, conditions of detention and enforcement, and to examine the readiness and prevention methods of hazardous materials disasters in Israel."
