In preparation for the upcoming IDF recruitment cycle, the Tzohar rabbis 'organization is currently working on composing a special prayer for recruitment day for the recruits' parents.
The prayer is to be published in seven different languages: Hebrew, English, Russian, Amharic, Arabic, French, and Spanish to allow all recruiting parents to connect to the prayer.
Not only this, but they also will issue the prayer in two different versions, one is intended for the parents of male conscripts while the other is intended for the parents of female conscripts in the IDF
Tzohar Rabbinical Association Chairman Rabbi David Stav said, "In these complex days, the people unite around their sons and daughters who are enlisting in the IDF. We in the Tzohar rabbis' organization want to strengthen their spirit through prayer for the parents of those enlisting so that they can return to their homes in health and safety."
