Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn referred in a Reshet Bet interview to the crisis in the government and said: "I don't regret entering the government. Even within the coalition, we must stand by our principles."

Nissenkorn added: "Going to elections is a difficult situation for Israel. I hope we won't be dragged to the polls for irrelevant reasons. Essentially we don't think a prime minister under indictment should serve, but after three rounds of elections and stagnation we thought we should pitch in and put things aside."
