The mob that has been disrupting the city of Seattle with violent demonstrations reached the neighborhood of the chief of police last night.

A letter sent by the chief of police to the city council included the following description of events with a warning:

"My house was the target of a large group of violent demonstrators last night. My neighbors were very concerned about this large group but somehow managed to secure the area and prevent the demonstrators from entering our neighborhood or committing crimes in the area despite many attempts to do so.

"Before the situtation deteriorates further thanks to the mob that rules in Seattle and throughout the state, elected public officials like yourselves must deliver a strong message that such actions must stop immediately," the chief of police wrote.
