The Ministry of Health reported that 1,090 new coronavirus patients were diagnosed over the last day during which just 10,028 virus tests were performed.
There are currently 331 patients in critical condition in Israel, including 99 on ventilator.
Eight patients have succumbed to the virus over the past 24 hours.
