Channel 11 News reports that the government's coronavirus cabinet is planning to impose strict restrictions on "red zone" towns which have a high transmission rate of coronavirus. Stores in "red zones" will be shut, and public gatherings will be forbidden.
"Orange zones" where coronavirus transmissions are high but not as alarming will be subject to less severe restrictions.
