Head of the Joint List, MK Ayman Odeh, has responded to an attack on him by the Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, earlier today.
Netanyahu called him a terrorist supporter, and decried what he described as the media's coopting of him in order to lend his symbolic weight to the now-regular left-wing demonstrations.
"We have a million unemployed," Odeh said, "and a total failure to stop this epidemic from spreading. As usual, the only thing Netanyahu can suggest is hatred for Arabs. But it doesn't work anymore. The public isn't buying it."
Odeh added that, "Netanyahu is a failure, and his final day in Balfour [Street, the Prime Minister's official residence] will be the first day on which we will begin the long process of fixing this situation, of creating peace, of achieving equality and social justice."
