Speaking on Galei Tzahal, Transportation Minister Miri Regev referred to the settlement reached between the government and El Al designed to save the airline from collapse.
"200 million shekels will be returned to ticket holders who ended up being unable to fly, before the High Holidays," Regev said.
El Al has been forced to cut its workforce substantially in order to convince the government to bail it out.
