MK Osnat Mark (Likud) noted in her Twitter account earlier today that her party on principle supports the Override Clause (that would, if passed in the Knesset, enable MKs to overrule Supreme Court rulings that have in turn overruled Knesset legislation).

"The Likud supports the passage of the Override Clause - everyone knows that," she wrote. "But the harassment we're getting from [MK Ayelet] Shaked and others in the opposition isn't helping matters. At the current time, the Prime Minister is solely concerned with the coronavirus crisis. Today, grants to parents were transferred, and we also authorized a plan for the new academic year that will cost the state more than four billion shekels. These things are what are important right now."
