Russia has reported 5,482 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to a report by Reuters.
Russian now has a total of 839,981 confirmed coronavirus cases, the fourth-largest number in the world.
In addition, 161 people died in the last day, bringing the official death toll to 13,963.
