A young woman who lost consciousness due to heat exhaustion while hiking through Wadi Qelt has passed away.
She was rescued earlier by medical personnel who attempted to resuscitate her, and a helicopter was dispatched to transport her to hospital, where despite their best efforts, staff were forced to declare her death.
