According to a report from the Kikar HaShabbat website, more than forty students at the Beer HaTalmud Yeshiva in Netivot have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Dozens more students at the yeshiva have been tested for the virus.
Netivot is a city in the northern Negev with a population of 35,000. It was the home of the eminent Moroccan rabbi and kabbalist Baba Sali, known for working miracles through his prayers.
