The Health Ministry has issued a clarification of its position, following the publication of a letter sent out by the Ministry's Director-General to regional doctors and nurses, in which Professor Hezi Levy reassured them that overall control of epidemiological studies related to coronavirus would remain in the hands of public health professionals.
"There is no dispute whatsoever between the Ministry and the government's coronavirus project manager, Professor Ronny Gamzu, who work together with excellent cooperation toward the same goal - reducing the rate of transmission of the virus, and breaking the chains of infection," its statement reads.
