Meretz MK Tamar Zandberg called on the Unit for Police Investigations to look into allegations of police assisting right-wing activists who assaulted leftist protesters in Tel Aviv on Monday.
Zandberg said she filed the complaint after accounts had surfaced that police had not acted to prevent the conflict from taking place and even assisted in the assault.
