PM Netanyahu said the financial aid package signed in the Knesset would bear fruit within a number of days.
Netanyahu promised Israeli citizens would see the money in their banking accounts by the beginning of next week.
He said he hoped the measures would allow the local economy to rebound from the shock suffered in the coronavirus crisis.
