The National Insurance Institute announced that if the law is passed today in the Knesset, a coronavirus grant for children under the age of 18 will enter bank accounts of those who receive their regular child allowance on Sunday. This is the first phase following which the rest will be delivered until the task is completed.

National Insurance Institute Director Meir Spiegler said: "A project the size of a grant for every citizen has never been done. Social Security workers have continued to work in emergency format since March, meeting national missions, aware of the size of the hour and the mission upon them. The funds will be transferred to the eligible beneficiaries until the last citizen receives the grants he is entitled to."
