The cost of opening the education system on September 1 will amount to NIS 4.2 billion, according to Education Minister Yoav Galant and Finance Minister Yisrael Katz.
The budget will be used to improve the remote learning system and recruit tens of thousands of teachers among the unemployed, students, retirees, and others.
