Internal Security Minister Amir Ohana prefers to recommend appointing a police officer to the office of Police Commisioner, according to Israel Hayom.
In recent weeks, Ohana has met with incumbents, retired commissioners, and members of the defense establishment, including Electric Company Chairman General Yiftach Ron Tal.
