A short time ago, the IDF addressed the incident in the north of the country, stating that residents can return to life as normal. Roads to and from the area have been reopened to traffic.
No casualties were reported on either side.
The IDF spokesperson said three Hezbollah terrorists had attempted to cross the border into Israel only to flee after being spotted by Israeli troops.
