Senior officials in the Health Ministry have ordered the Ministry to procure equipment for swift coronavirus testing, at a cost of $7 million.
The Ministry plans to purchase 3,000 pieces of machinery and 200,000 testing kits, even though experts assert that the tests are only 56% accurate, and that they are incapable of identifying asymptomatic cases.
