Community Strengthening and Advancement Minister MK Orly Levy-Abucasis raised the issue of discharged soldiers at today's cabinet meeting, and the need to consider them due to their unique difficulties during this period.
She sought to generalize the population of discharged soldiers in eligibility for an increased grant, so that discharged soldiers would receive a grant of NIS 1,500, rather than NIS 750. The Prime Minister expressed support for the proposal.
