Rescue teams from Beit Shemesh arrived to treat a 72-year-old worker who was injured during his work near the Etziona quarries on Route 367. MDA teams were forced to determine his death.
The incident commander, Major Yehoram Haddad, said, "We arrived at the scene and noticed a man trapped between his vehicle and some boulders, and that he was unconscious. We immediately began advanced rescue operations, first using engineering tools and then with mechanical tools. We transferred the man to MDA teams who were forced to determine his death."
