The World Health Organization reported a new CV-19-related death record with 9,753 deaths worldwide in over a one-day period between Thursday and Friday.
According to the organization, this is the highest number of global coronavirus deaths since April 30, when 9,797 people succumbed to the disease over a one-day period. As of Friday, the global number of virus victims stood at 628,903.
