Two parents from the south of the country have been arrested on suspicion that they abused their three-month-old infant.
The child was admitted to Barzilai hospital suffering from serious wounds over his entire body. Hospital staff informed the police who arrested the couple.
The parents will be brought before a hearing at which police will request an extension of their remand.
