Walla News political correspondent Tal Shalev has predicted that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will force new elections prior to his trial that is scheduled for January of next year.
"The economic situation is likely to be worse by the end of next winter," Shalev stated in an interview on radio 103 FM "and the fallout from the scheduled trial would also take its toll.
"Therefore, it makes sense for Netanyahu to take preventive steps and go to elections in November before his trial. It would be much worse to wait until March, following a winter of flu and virus and court proceedings."
